I'm talking about the Fuugen costume I'm making for the CNAnime con on Friday.

Progress:
One wing (just the white 'base'), one 1/2 done.
All the strips for the wing "accesories" done - just need to sew up one side and attach.
the Italian flag-flaps - both done. need to hem sides and attache big purple blocks.

That's ... the good news.

Setbacks:
the purple shirt shi got is apparently too small to make fugen's. ._.;
So, gotta shop for new one.
need buttons. metallic small buttons at least 24 of them to attach ALL bits to cloth.
Stuff the big purple slabs and the shoulder ones which shi can't do until shi has shirt measurements.
Halo.
Bouncyball/beachball/pseudoTaikyokufuin.

It's cost shi about $40 so far (Canadian) ... probably be more.
Almost forgot - body sticker tattoo sheets.
if shi can't get that in time, shi'll settle for paint.

Still ... *looking back with sense of vague accomplishment* That's quite a lot shi did in 3 days.
gotta work harder.
Good thing shi decided not to make pants and shoes.
for comfort's sake, of course. ^^;

... letsee, the flaps (front and back, only for attaching the red & green bits to the white middle), 13 of the 18 strips that was to go on wings since you didn't like the weightless hard to sew purplen fabric shi got ... that's it.
shi cut stencils and fabric and everything else shiself, including the wings. 0;D
