Shi WOULD have been on last night, but ...

.... okay, the connection went belly up.
When shi called Rogers@home, it turned out that everyone on the network (about 600 modems in total) went kaput, so it wasn't just shi's comp.

... it's finally fixed now. *eyes blinking green lights on TERAYON warily*

.... to top off the evening, some stupid tweenies decided it would be fun to egg the store.

Almost forgot .. shi was UP to see the meteor shower, too, but the street lights make the sky too black in contrast and shi dinna see a thing.
Stupid sis ... she told shi about it, and "oh, wake me up - it's about 5-7am and I'll go see it with you!"

and come 5:30am when shi's up ...
shi: mmnnnn. *blinks @ clock* ...hey, maiji?
maiji: .... waaaaaaht?
shi: ... 5:30. Meteor shower? didn't you say you wanted to-
maij: NGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHRRRR. wanna sleep.

so shi wound up going out all alone (since shi had to grab the morning papers in before some stupid so called "thrifty" soul snitched them since the Sunday Sun has the tv guide) not seeing anything.

maiji:... why didn't you go down to the park? The skies should be clearer there?

riiiiight. 2-3 blocks away @ 5:30am in the morning without company and all is dark and scary looking and no one knowing where shi would be.
